Alex Wynn and Liza Friedwald specialise in advising and representing clients in all aspects of family law, including litigation, and join national firm Keypoint Law from boutique Gold Coast law firm, Arbon Legal Group.

With over 20 years of experience and a varied legal career, including running teams of litigation staff and management consulting on complex high value industrial and commercial projects, Wynn says he has “developed a strong empathy with the practice of family law.”

Friedwald is a former barrister who practised in most areas of law. Her varied practice has seen her represent many clients and appear in a range of Courts and Tribunals, including Local/Magistrates, District, Supreme and Appellate Courts as well as Family and Federal Courts. Liza regularly conducts her own trials and can appear in any family law application or hearing.

Commenting on Alex and Liza’s appointments, Keypoint CEO Warren Kalinko said:

“…Our client offering continues to grow with excellent senior lawyers who have years of experience in their respective fields. The pairs’ joining further adds to the quality of our growing Queensland team – now 11 Consulting Principals – and is an exciting development for our private clients. We are delighted to welcome them to Keypoint.”

Earlier in the year, Keypoint was awarded the 2023 Workplace Culture and Health Award by the Queensland Law Society, recognising the firm for outstanding workplace culture.

Speaking about their appointment, Alex stated:

“I am delighted to have joined Keypoint Law with its stellar reputation, nationwide presence, international connections and wide service offering and look forward to providing dedicated family law and dispute resolution services to our clients.”

Liza also expressed her enthusiasm about joining the firm:

“Keypoint’s progressive approach to the practice of law presents opportunities and resources that are not often available in conventional firms.  I am very excited about joining Keypoint Law and working with my fellow Consulting Principals.”
