Keypoint Law welcomes duo from Coleman Greig’s Taxation & Superannuation Team.

King Tan and Elizabeth Burnheim join Keypoint Law today as Consulting Principals.

King specialises in taxation law.  He has extensive experience in Federal and State taxes – covering both advisory and dispute matters.  King also practises in the areas of trust law, superannuation law and succession planning.  He has acted for a range of clients, including multinational and listed companies, professional advisers (particularly, accountants and financial planners) and high net wealth family groups.

The firm’s CEO, Warren Kalinko, states:

“King’s experience, ranging from top-tier legal experience and Big-4 accounting, to private clients experience, bring tremendous additional skills and experience to our firm.”

King was formerly a team leader at Coleman Greig, and prior to that role, he was with King & Wood Mallesons and KPMG.

Elizabeth practises in the areas of estate planning, taxation, superannuation and trusts.  She works with high-net worth family groups through complex estate planning and superannuation issues.  She also assists business owners, trustees and beneficiaries of trusts, and advises on business and investment structuring, including for payroll tax purposes such as de-grouping applications and payroll tax audits.

Elizabeth was formerly a team leader at Coleman Greig, and prior to that role, she was with Argyle Lawyers.

“Elizabeth’s experience dealing with niche taxation matters in the SME market, and for private clients, is a skill set the firm is very excited to extend to our clients.”

“…The pair join Keypoint with a complementary skill set, further developing our Tax Law offering across the firm,” continues Warren.

The addition of King and Elizabeth follows the firm’s appointment of former Hall & Wilcox Head of Tax, Peter Murray.

King and Elizabeth commented on their appointment to the firm:

“We are very excited to be joining the innovative Keypoint Law, and are thrilled with the opportunity to flexibly service our clients. We look forward to contributing to the firm, particularly in working with our colleagues to provide tailored and wholistic legal service to clients.”
