Leading innovative law firm Keypoint Law has recorded another bumper year for senior appointments, ranking in the top five for partner-level growth for the second consecutive year as reported in the Australian Financial Review’s Law Partnership Survey, published on 28 June 2019.

Over the past 12 months the firm has bolstered its ranks with the addition of 12 Consulting Principals (equivalent in seniority to partners), including former partners of Allens, Baker McKenzie, EY and Thomson Geer, representing a solid 19% growth rate.

The bi-annual survey, which draws on data provided by Australia’s leading law firms, has highlighted Keypoint’s position as an industry trailblazer, with the firm the sole alternative model law firm recognised of the 50 firms listed.

Keypoint Law CEO Warren Kalinko said Keypoint’s continued growth was an endorsement of the firm’s innovative model:

“In an intensively competitive market, ranking so highly for growth is welcome recognition of the firm’s appeal to experienced senior lawyers, who are increasingly seeking a credible alternative to the traditional partnership path. We are proud to be bringing much needed change to the legal profession by offering lawyers the opportunity to take control of their careers in a firm that offers meaningful flexibility, decision-making control and the multitude of benefits that come from being part of a truly collegiate team.”

Keypoint’s highly credentialed team of 38 senior lawyers now advise across 15 practice areas from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra, with additional appointments expected to be announced shortly.
