Mathew Kaley is a senior financial services lawyer with over 25 years’ experience advising insurance companies and other leading financial institutions on complex regulatory and commercial matters. His expertise spans the full spectrum of financial services law, including governance, corporate advisory, licensing, mergers and acquisitions, distribution arrangements, product development, marketing, compliance and regulatory disputes.

Mathew’s expertise is distinguished by his rare combination of deep legal expertise and a commercial, inside-out understanding of the financial services industry. Having served for nearly two decades as General Counsel and Company Secretary at a major international insurer, he brings a first-hand appreciation of the operational realities, strategic drivers and risk settings that shape clients’ decisions.
