- Andrew’s experience in data protection, privacy and data analytics has led to a focus on AI governance and regulatory reform, especially Ai and other forms of automated decision-making technologies.
- Andrew has over 15 years’ experience in renewable energy project development and construction, energy infrastructure and energy markets.
- Underpinning all Andrew’s specialist sectoral experience is his extensive and ongoing experience in Property and Commercial Law.
Andrew’s legal practice is informed and supported by his decades of senior leadership and governance experience across private and corporate legal practice, corporate executive and board director and chair roles, in Australia and internationally.

- Leadership and advocacy in the transition of Australia’s credit information (data privacy / security) regime from ‘negative’ to ‘comprehensive’ information reporting
- Significant contributions to banking and finance reforms in foreign exchange, pre-paid cards and cross-border payment systems
- Extensive engagement in Australia’s energy transition, including market regulatory reforms, infrastructure (electricity and gas networks), energy storage and green gases
- Over 35 years’ ongoing experience and expertise in property development and construction law, commercial and corporate law.
