Keypoint Law is delighted to announce the appointment of construction and commercial litigation specialist Roland Burt as a Consulting Principal, based in Melbourne. Roland joins Keypoint from the partnership of McKean Park.

Roland is highly regarded for his strategic and pragmatic approach and focus on achieving favourable commercial outcomes for his clients. He brings over 25 years’ experience in commercial and construction disputes, with his practice covering a broad spectrum of construction, subdivision, owners corporations, real estate, corporations, and trade matters. In recognition of his expertise, Roland has received specialist accreditation in commercial litigation from the Law Institute of Victoria and has been accredited as a mediator by the Institute of Arbitrators & Mediators Australia.

Roland has a strong private practice background, having held several senior roles at mid-tier and boutique firms, including partner at Norton Gledhill (now Piper Alderman), partner at Mills Oakley, and principal at Macpherson + Kelley.

Roland’s appointment follows the recent addition of Wendy Jacobs and Mark Addison in Sydney, who joined Keypoint from the partnership of DibbsBarker in April 2018.
