Keypoint is delighted to announce that it has appointed Rosemary Carreras to the firm, as a Consulting Principal based in Sydney.

Rosemary is a skilled and respected estate planning and administration lawyer, with over 20 years’ experience in this area of law. She was formerly a Principal Lawyer and Head of Estates at Coleman Greig Lawyers.

Rosemary works across the full spectrum of estate planning and administration matters for a broad range of clients including business owners, high net worth individuals and clients with complex family situations.

Rosemary has particular expertise in the area of family inheritance and succession planning. She is a Full Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (internationally recognised experts in this area); and she is an Accredited Advisor with Family Business Australia.

Rosemary also has a special interest in helping families with children who have special needs. Passionate about educating those with vulnerable beneficiaries to plan for the future, Rosemary has presented widely on disability issues, including for organisations such as Northcott Disability Services and St Gabriel’s School.

Rosemary additionally has a keen interest in the area of self-managed superfund lending and has broad experience acting for both lenders and borrowers. This area of her practice benefits from Rosemary’s background as a property finance lawyer, an area she worked in for over a decade prior to specialising in Estates.

Rosemary is also a notary public in NSW.

Commenting on Rosemary’s joining, Keypoint’s CEO Warren Kalinko said:

Rosemary brings tremendous experience in Estate Planning to our firm. She is highly regarded for her professional and compassionate approach, and for the care she takes in looking after the legal needs of all her clients. Rosemary’s joining further strengthens our already considerable national estate planning team, which is recognised by Doyle’s Guide as one of the leading practices in this area.   We’re delighted that Rosemary has joined our firm”.

Rosemary Carreras stated:

“I’m thrilled to be joining such a highly respected and innovative national firm. What drew me to Keypoint is its unique operating model which will arm me with complete flexibility and autonomy over all the business decisions affecting how I engage with and service my clients.  For me, this is what sets Keypoint apart from traditional law firms.”
