Rod Cameron is a senior commercial litigation lawyer with more than 30 years of experience advising and representing clients on complex corporate and commercial disputes, with particular expertise in, title insurance, lenders mortgage insurance and regulatory and professional disciplinary matters.

Rod has acted in a broad range of insurance, litigation, dispute resolution and professional discipline matters, appearing in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the Occupational Division of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal. He has significant experience acting for insurers in complaints before the Australian Financial Complaints Authority extensively since 2018.

He is recognised for his specialist expertise in title insurance and lenders mortgage insurance, including drafting and advising on the interpretation of insurance policies and representing clients in disputes arising under those policies.

Before joining Keypoint in 2026, Rod was Senior Legal Counsel at Stewart Title Australia, following 30 years as a Partner at Hicksons where he led the firm’s commercial litigation practice.

A Harvard-trained negotiator, Rod holds degrees in Law and Commerce and is admitted to practise in New South Wales, Victoria and the High Court of Australia.

Rod is based in Sydney.
