Derek joined Keypoint Law in 2019. He graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor Commerce in Professional Accounting and a Juris Doctor from The University of New South Wales in 2014. Derek was subsequently admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2014 and High Court of Australia in 2015.
Prior to joining Keypoint, Derek worked at the Kingsford Legal Centre and generalist boutique law firms in the Sydney CBD, specialising in property and projects. Derek has extensive experience in advising high net worth individuals, Australian property developers, local small businesses, large corporate clients and overseas-based investors.
Derek’s also has experience in banking and finance, corporate and commercial law, family law, criminal law, migration law, civil litigation, wills & estates, and complex commercial litigation.
Derek is also experienced at instructing counsel and has regularly appeared at NSW Local Courts as well as the Supreme Court of NSW.
